Gluten Free Beer Taste Test

Join me and my faithful, German Shepherd companions as I test out four gluten free/gluten reduced beers. These easy-on-the-tummy, Low FODMAP beers are IBS friendly (in moderation, of course!). Don't sacrifice taste on a Low FODMAP Diet.

In this video I try to guess the beer and rate them based on taste. Today, I'll be reviewing:

Stone Delicious IPA

Stone Brewery is located in California and Virginia. This is a gluten reduced beer, meaning it contains traces of gluten. Stone makes their Delicious IPA by including gluten ingredients in the beginning of the brewing process. They brewing method actually decreases the amount of gluten in the beer. It's not 100% gluten free, but ends up being <20ppm and safe for many people on a Low FODMAP Diet.

Omission IPA

Based in Portland, Oregon, Omission Brewery's beers are all gluten-reduced and packaged in a closed environment to avoid cross-contamination.

Glutenberg Blonde Ale

These 100% gluten free beers are made in Quebec. They are truly gluten free, containing 0.00ppm. Unlike gluten reduced beer, Glutenberg doesn't include any gluten containing ingredients in the brewing process, which is how they're able to brew beer that is completely gluten free.

New Plant Seclusion IPA

New Planet is based in Colorado and brews both gluten free and gluten reduced beers. Seclusion is from their gluten reduced line.
